PROGRAMS and COURSES
 
HOJUTSU. Hojutsu is the ancient Japanese word for "the Art of Gunnery". As practiced today, Hojutsu is the combination of the Modern Technique and traditional Japanese budo. Hojutsu trains in handgun, rifle, shotgun, submachine gun, and precision rifle; we also train in unarmed defense, various impact weapons, edged weapons, and groundfighting. However, Hojutsu is a primarily a shooting art. Traditional reigi(protocol) is followed. At present, black belt rank through third dan (sandan) can be achieved.
A 3 day Hojutsu Seminar is $250 per person, depending on location.
 
INTEGRATED FIGHTING. All fights are an integration of weapons and techniques, each
selected as the fight progresses. In these courses, both the three-day operator and five-day instructor, students escalate/de-escalate depending on the threat. Threats are dealt with using hands, feet, chemical sprays, Tasers, batons, or firearms. These classes are demanding, and students should have a solid background in defensive tactics or martial arts.
 
AERIAL GUNNERY. Based on actual combat, aerial gunnery is designed for the police or
military group using helicopters for patrol, insertion, or interdiction. This class teaches the operator to effectively engage targets from a moving helicopter. This class is a must for any organization that puts armed officers into helicopters!
 
CLOSE-QUARTER HANDGUN. Traditional police and military training emphasize longer
distances, static stances, use of cover, and static training drills. All of this is critical, and all must be mastered prior to moving forward. Once mastered, however, training with the handgun must emphasize training within the envelope that most real pistol fights occur- inside five yards. This intense course covers movement, sighted and stance-directed fire, unusual positions, groundfighting with the pistol, and other subjects. It is a must for the warrior who routinely carries a handgun.
 
HANDGUN COMBAT MASTER. Designed by Chuck Taylor, the Master training regimen and test is the most difficult handgun discipline in existence. The student will learn to present the pistol and shoot accurately in extremely compressed times- he must be very fast and very accurate. Most students take years to pass this demanding protocol. If you want to push handgun shooting to the top, the Master's program is the way to go. You cannot pass this alone- the student can only be certified when an existing Master tests him.
